tributes and gifts Sheldon Kantor Memorial Fund for Cancer Counseling and Education The Sheldon M. Kantor Memorial Fund provides money for individual counseling and support groups for cancer patients and their families. It funds programs to help families cope with the devastating diagnosis of cancer and its aftermath. Marlene and Jerome Gropman Fund for New Americans Marlene and Jerome Gropman Fund for New Americans sponsors health education for Russian immigrants in their own language. The Gropman Fund provides for language interpretation and addresses some specific medical needs for new Americans, such as medical equipment. William P. and Rose Love Greenberg Fund for Senior Adult Services The William P. and Rose Love Greenberg Fund for Senior Adults focuses on the needs of senior adults individually or in conjunction with their families. It addresses issues such as respite care, social services, health care and family counseling. Andrea Kideckel Breast Cancer Fund The Andrea Kideckel Breast Cancer Fund supports breast cancer research and treatment, including specialized medical equipment. Lillian and Irving Farkas Kids Kicking Cancer Fund The Lillian and Irving Farkas Fund supports Kids Kicking Cancer, an organization partnering with local hospitals to provide martial arts classes to pediatric oncology patients and their siblings.  It is an innovative approach toward empowering pediatric oncology patients.  It is helping them to gain inner strength and a sense of partnering in their own healing. Maisel Women's Health Center Fund The Maisel Women's Health Center Fund supports women's health care.  This includes, but is not limited to, mammography, ultrasound and bone density testing. Sol Eisenberg Education and Research Fund for Breast Cancer The Sol Eisenberg Education and Research Fund attends to a broad spectrum of needs associated with breast cancer. In addition to addressing personal needs, it may also provide for breast cancer prevention, education and research. Stan Brown Memorial Oncology Fund The Stan Brown Memorial Oncology Fund supports services for cancer patients. This fund has provided cancer care products and support services. Today, the Stan Brown Memorial Oncology Fund has expanded to provide cancer counseling, nutrition counseling, and social work services. The Sinai Guild Discretionary Fund The Sinai Guild Discretionary Fund provides monetary support for community health needs. The discretion of this fund allows for flexibility in meeting both immediate needs as well as those which fall outside the purview of other specific funds. Isadore and Beryl Winkelman Cardiac Fund The Isadore and Beryl Winkelman Cardiac Fund supports cardiology testing, treatment and research, as well as respite care for caregivers.           Mark Samuel Silverman Memorial Fund The Mark Samuel Silverman Memorial Fund provides comfort and assistance in special needs for Hospice patients. Hope and Gene Silverman Toy Fund The Hope and Gene Silverman Toy Fund gifts hospitalized children with new toys and games at Children's Hospital.  Play can provide a link between the normalcy of childhood and the anxiety and inactivity of sickness.  Toys help children conquer the isolation of their hospital stay. Lawrence and Idell Weisberg Cancer Treatment Center Fund The Weisberg Cancer Treatment Center Fund supports the therapies and auxilary activities here at the Center.  It provides funds to enhance technologies and programs already in place.
